Check These Before You Buy
Five questions that prevent most hardware regrets.
- Confirm the radio region plan. LoRaWAN hardware for Malaysia must support AS923.
- Confirm the output. Meters and sensors should expose Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, LoRaWAN or BLE in a documented way.
- Ask for the register map or payload decoder before you order, not after.
- Check the environment: temperature range, ingress protection and mounting for the site.
- Plan power and backhaul for gateways, especially on remote sites.
